Tour Plan

Day 01 Negombo

Once you disembark from your international flight to Sri Lanka, your tour guide meet you and escort you to your hotel. After completing the check-in process, take some time to relax, and refresh yourself before heading out on a city tour of Negombo.

One of the coastal towns with a large presence of Roman Catholics, the city has several stunning churches and cathedrals. It is also a town famed for its beaches, shopping opportunities and nightlife.

Day 02 Anuradhapura
Day 03 Dambulla and Sigiriya

Dambulla and Sigiriya are two iconic destinations you can visit within a day since they are within easy reach.

The Dambulla Cave Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The temple is one of the largest and best-preserved cave temple complexes on the island and has a colourful history. You will find a stunning collection of Buddhist art, statues and other artefacts within the large cave complex.

The historical Sigiriya Fortress is another UNESCO World Heritage Site that attracts a lot of visitors. The rock fortress is a testament to human ingenuity and engineering. Climb to the summit to get stunning views of the surrounding landscape and explore the ancient ruins. You can also admire the famous Sigiriya frescoes during your climb, whether on the way up or down.

Day 04 Pasikudah

Discover the beaches of the east coast on the fourth day of your stay in Sri Lanka. One of the most popular beaches in the area is Pasikudah Beach. Widely considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Sri Lanka, it is perfect for relaxation. Unlike the bustle of the beaches down south, Pasikudah tends to be more serene and still.

Day 05 Kandy

Head to the capital of the hill country, Kandy to immerse yourself in the attractions of this iconic town.

The Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden is a great destination to brush away the fatigue from your travels. The sprawling garden is a pleasant distraction from the hustle and bustle of the second-biggest Sri Lankan city.

Once you have spent some time outdoors in the garden, you can start exploring the city. A city tour will help you to discover more about Kandy.

Day 06 Kandy

Pay a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic in the morning. The Sacred Tooth Relic is one of the most revered objects for Buddhists. As it sits within the Royal Palace Complex, yu will see many architectural features and paintings unique to the Kandyan era.

In the evening, witness a cultural performance, where you can enjoy the distinct artistry of Sri Lankan dancers and musicians.

Day 07 Ella

Discover Ella, a picturesque village in the heart of Sri Lanka's hill country.

Surrounded by lush greenery, Ella offers breathtaking views and the perfect chance to hike. A short hike leads you to the famous Nine Arches Bridge. This feat of colonial-era engineering is popular with visitors thanks to the location and the scenery. If you time it right, you can even see the train as it crosses the bridge after emerging from a nearby tunnel.

Hike to the top of Ella Rock for panoramic vistas or reach the Little Adam's Peak viewpoint. Explore the enchanting Ravana Falls, a perfect spot for a refreshing dip. Wander through tea plantations and savour a cup of world-renowned Ceylon tea.

Day 08 Udawalawa

Udawalawa is a wildlife haven in Sri Lanka. Famous for its National Park, it's a must-visit thanks to the high concentration of Sri Lankan elephants. You can also spot elephants, leopards, and a variety of birds. This is the perfect time to enjoy a 4x4 safari.  The park's stunning landscapes offer endless photo opportunities.

Don't miss the Elephant Transit Home, where you can see orphaned elephants.

Day 09 Tangalle

Tangalle is a serene gem on Sri Lanka's southern coast.

It boasts pristine, sandy beaches and turquoise waters. You can relax under swaying palm trees or explore vibrant coral reefs. The resort town is known for its tranquil atmosphere and sweeping beaches. Be sure to indulge in the excellent seafood at a restaurant. Thanks to its thriving fishing community, you can enjoy fresh seafood cooked according to the regional preferences.

If you want to explore more, visit the Mulkirigala Rock Temple, perched high on a cliff. There is much to explore at the temple including Kandyan-era paintings, rock inscriptions, caves, a museum and more.

Day 10 Galle

Galle is a beautiful coastal city in Sri Lanka, known among travellers because of the Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Dutch Fort is the best-preserved fort in Sri Lanka and has undergone multiple renovations to make it a major tourist attraction. Many of the beautiful colonial buildings have been converted into restaurants, boutique shops, cafes and hotels. However, there are still residents who live within the fort. So you can even catch a glimpse of life.

There are several attractions within the fort including the Dutch Reformed Church the Maritime Museum and the iconic Lighthouse. You can discover the history of the fort, the maritime era of the coastal regions, the fishing communities and more as you visit these sites.

Day 11 Relaxation

Indulge in the calm serenity of coastal Sri Lanka as you take a break from exploring the island. Today is for relaxation. We are always happy to help arrange anything if you want to pursue a specific activity.

Day 12 Galle

The area has several conservation projects for turtles so you can visit a turtle hatchery to spend some time with tiny hatchlings. These projects also aim to help any injured turtles, so you might also find some fully grown adult turtles.

Afterwards, take a boat safari along the Madu River, and enjoy the idyllic charm of the villages and surrounding neighbourhood.

Day 13 Colombo

Colombo is Sri Lanka's bustling capital.

The city has much to offer visitors. You can enjoy shopping at one of the glamorous shopping malls and discover a handmade treasure or purchase a branded item. Some other brands and companies offer bespoke products that you can purchase to gift your loved ones as well.

A city tour will take you to major attractions in Colombo. You can visit the National Museum, the iconic Independence Hall and several famous landmarks in Colombo. These colonial buildings blend seamlessly with the places of worship, the skyscrapers, corporate offices, shops, markets and street vendors in Colombo.

Day 14 Conclusion
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
