Tour Plan

Day 01 Colombo

Take in the vivacious spirit of Colombo. Sri Lanka's commercial capital embraces change wholeheartedly and shifts constantly as the city accommodates people's needs, wants and wishes. The city is at once a place of commerce and pleasure. While you see corporate offices based in Colombo, you also get incredible tourist attractions. There are several city parks where you can be outdoors under the shade of trees, countless galleries and museums you can visit, beautiful beaches, places of worship, restaurants and cafes, and entertainment venues.

Day 02 Dambulla and Sigiriya
Day 03 Minneriya and Polonnaruwa

Heighten the excitement of your tour with an action-packed safari within the Minneriya National Park in the early morning before heading to Polonnaruwa, the second oldest capital and kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka. The city has a proud history that goes back centuries. You can still visit several ancient buildings that date back to this era. Since the ruins sit in a compact area, it is easy to explore on foot.

The sprawling landscape is dotted with man-made lakes built by former Sri Lankan kings, to harvest rainwater to supply much-needed water for the agricultural efforts of the residents. In the dry season, when watering holes dry up, you might even spot some wildlife that come to these reservoirs to sate their thirst.

Day 04 Relaxation

Indulge in the opulence and luxury of a five-star hotel facility.

Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast spread and enjoy a day of relaxation. Today is yours to with as you wish. The hotel's amenities and facilities are available for your pleasure. If you wish to do something else, we will be happy to arrange your preferred activity. Please let us know your choice 24 hours in advance.

Day 05 Kandy

Pay a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic in the morning. The temple is an iconic sight in Kandy as well as an important destination for Buddhists. The beautiful artwork, sculpture, murals and carvings pale in the face of the Holy Tooth Relic of the Buddha. While you are at the temple, you might even witness the daily rituals held in homage to the Sacred Relic!

Afterwards, take a stroll in the nearby Peradeniya Botanical Garden. On its well-tended grounds, you can find centuries-old trees, as well as native, endemic and foreign flora. Then you can embark on a Kandy city tour to get to know it better.

Cap off the evening with a cultural performance. This is not just a venue for traditional Kandyan dancers to shine. You will also see many dance forms that belong to other areas of the island as well. The event culminates in an impressive fire walking display.

Day 06 Ella and Udawalawa

Located in scenic Ella, Rawana Falls is one of the best waterfalls in the misty hill country. Spend some time at the falls before heading towards the south coast.

Your day ends in Udawalawe. The Udawalawa National Park has one of the highest concentrations of Asian elephants in Sri Lanka. In addition, the sparkling waters of the Udawalawe Reservoir and the various watering holes within the park attract a variety of mammals including the elusive Sri Lankan leopards and black bears, birds and reptiles.

Day 07 Relaxation

This is another day of rest. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere of coastal Sri Lanka and have fun at the beach. You might be lucky enough to see local fishermen perched on stilts with fishing rods. These stilt fishermen are preserving a dying tradition and you can only spot them in a few areas in southern Sri Lanka.

Day 08 Galle and Negombo

On your final day in Sri Lanka, visit the captivating Galle Fort. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the fortress is a charming mixture of European architecture and Sri Lankan hospitality. Walk along its strong rampant and narrow streets and admire the sights, sounds and scents of the south before getting on the road to Negombo.

Before reaching Negombo, you can embark on a river safari along the Madu River and enjoy the serenity of the landscape and the rural setting of the neighbourhood. You can also stop at a Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda, where conservation efforts seek to preserve and safeguard tiny vulnerable hatchlings before they are strong enough to be released into the sea.

Thanks to its large population of Roman Catholics, Negombo has several stunning cathedrals and churches. As a result, Sri Lankans fondly call the town Little Rome. Take a Negombo city tour and squeeze in some last-minute shopping before your guide takes you to the Bandaranaike International Airport in time for your departure.
