Tour Plan

Day 01 Dambulla and Sigiriya

Begin your tour with a bang.

Head off to Dambulla where you can explore the ancient Dambulla Cave Temple. The vast collection of Buddhist statues, artwork and stupas will impress you.

Afterwards, you can climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, famous for its frescoes, Mirror Wall, ruins of a palace complex and stunning landscape. You can enjoy 360-degree views of the landscape and enjoy the sunset if you linger long enough.

Spend your night amongst villagers at a nearby village and enjoy the authenticity of genuine Sri Lankan cooking.

Day 02 Minneriya National Park

Another adventure awaits you at the Minneriya National Park.

The park is one of the best places to explore Sri Lankan wildlife. There are over 20 mammal species living within the park as well as over 100 bird species. The park has more than 20 reptilian species with 8 that are endemic.

Day 03 Kandy

Kandy is one of the best destinations in the hill country to explore. The Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya is a refreshing stop before you head to pay your respects at the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Afterwards, enjoy a city tour and get to know the second-largest Sri Lankan city. In the evening, watch a cultural show featuring graceful and rhythmic dancers and drummers. The show comes to an end with an impressive fire-walking display.

Day 04 Ella and Udawalawa

Travel through Ella on your way to Udawalawa. The small hill country resort town is perfect for a nature lover and you can stop at the Rawana Falls to admire the sheer power of water. In Udawalawa, you can indulge in a second safari ride through the Udawalawa National Park.

Afterwards, visit the Elephant Transit, where you can admire the wild elephants that rest there briefly for several reasons. These animals are released back into the wild once their physical health is assured.

Day 05 Relaxation

Today is a day where you can work on your tan at a peaceful beach. Enjoy the rest!

Day 06 Negombo

You will travel to Negombo, with a brief excursion at a turtle hatchery. If you prefer, you can also enjoy a Madu River boat safari on the way.
